Good morning. Today is my Friday and I very happy about that. In fact every Thursdays are my Fridays. Good. Good. Great! ^_^ Class is about Advanced Image Manipulation aka Photoshop. The key is to manipulate images and make them as realistic as possible. Currently listening to Pandora Radio online and “Last Friday Night” is playing by Katy Perry, one of my favorite songs. There are about five girls in this class already and one guy. The class starts at 8AM. 

Later this afternoon 12-1 is the ADC (Art Driven Club) meeting for officers.  I think I am really pushing myself this quarter, especially trying to get more involved with the Ai community.  AiCASF (Art Institute of California - SF). Good grief. I hope I don’t fall off the edge trying to do a lot of stuff this quarter. I am saying this because I am also the leader (President) of my very own club  (SWAP) - Society of Web Artists and Programmers. There’s going to be a club fair next Tuesday (Jan 17).  As much as I want to be at the event from 5-7, I can’t because my Tuesday is already jam-packed with classes from 1-10PM, so I would only be at the event for an hour. Hope that’s enough to get stuff going and hopefully I’ll have my members stay long up to the end of the event. I really want this to be a successful club fair with more students signing up. Web design is really fun especially when we get to the INTERACTIVE part! This is where we put pizzaz into a regular HTML document with CSS3, JavaScript, etc. Fun! Code is beautiful!!! 

Ah seems like a full house in this class after all and more guys . It’s even..

Last night was my intermediate authoring class and there we learned that actionscript is an object oriented language, meaning even though we don’t have any objects on the stage and timeline, actionscript will read its object in the Flash library, code will execute and play according to event handlers and classes in Flash. That was fun.

As for JavaScript, same principles: objects, classes, methods, and properties. First it was all lecture then lab. We spent more time with lecture and of course getting into groups introducing each other to the class. I’m glad I survived my first day.

I got up this morning not looking forward on going to school tonight, but blech here I am. I arrived on campus at 3pm only because I didn’t want to walk to bart and take bart to school, so I had a ride. My bf dropped me off to school. He is playing golf now. I have the class from 6-10pm, fundamental of audio, eck not excited about it, but it should be fun. I hope so. I know the instructor so I guess and hope it’ll be a chill class. We don’t have any required text books so I am making the assumption of his class being easy.

I have a baby headache right now.  Not a great start for winter quarter. Here’s to day of one of eleven weeks of school. 

Okay seriously .. it is 3:21am and I am still wide awake. This ism normal anymore. I don’t doubt I have a bit of insomnia, and all I really had today was two cups of tea and a cup of coffee. It’s Saturday already and I am not looking forward on going back to school. But every good thing must come to an end. Where there is a bundle of joy, one must accept disappointments and hell (school). Speaking of school, I swear it feels like every quarter they have me in a lock down or a dog on a short and tight leash waiting to break free. Okay ..school is not so bad I guess but 11 weeks is sooooo tiring!

My brother is back home in SD.. his visit to the bay area was like a dream I never wanna wake up from. But…

Glad he is home safe. I miss the little man.
